Recently, Amazon updated its compliance policy: certain product categories must now undergo Direct Validation through Amazon-approved TIC (Testing, Inspection and Certification) bodies.

Policy Changes

• The traditional model of self-uploading compliance reports is no longer accepted;
• Sellers must complete testing and validation through a TIC whitelist 3rd Party Laboratory;
• Validation results are submitted directly by the laboratory to Amazon — sellers cannot upload them manually.

New Compliance Workflow 

1. Log in to Seller Central → Manage Your Compliance (MYC);
2. Locate the ASIN requiring compliance and submit a request;
3. Select Intertek from the TIC whitelist;
4. Provide product documentation/samples or existing reports;
5. Intertek completes validation and submits results directly to Amazon;
6. Once approved, your product remains active for sale.
